For 75 years, Europe’s largest paper plate manufacturer HOSTI GmbH has been committed to environmentally friendly solutions.
Our disposable tableware is not only high-quality, but also sustainable, recyclable and compostable. We use renewable raw materials for our products and continuously optimize our manufacturing processes according to the principles of lean production to ensure quality, efficiency and environmental friendliness.
Thanks to our many years of experience in the production of sustainable disposable solutions, we have established a large portfolio of robust, stable and food-safe products.

We rely on wood and paper products from responsibly managed forests that meet social and ecological standards. Thanks to short transport routes from the Black Forest and Finnish forests, we ensure maximum sustainability to minimize our environmental impact at all times.
- With our integrated management system, certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and FSC®, we continuously guarantee our customers the highest top quality.
- Our hygiene management system also ensures that our products are produced under safe and hygienic conditions in accordance with the BRC (British Retail Consortium) standard.
- Our products are regularly tested for food safety by internationally recognized laboratories and certification bodies.
ENERGY FROM WIND, WATER & SUN
By using only renewable energy to generate electricity, HOSTI GmbH produces climate-neutrally at its Pfedelbach site and thus makes an important contribution to climate protection.
- Our daily electricity consumption is supplied by 100% wind turbines and hydropower.
- With one of the largest photovoltaic systems in our region on our company roof, we want to make a further contribution to environmental protection.
